Low-Income Monthly Transit Pass ($44) monthly
The Calgary Transit Low-Income Monthly Transit Pass is available to Calgarians with income lower than 75% of the Low Income Cut Off set by the Federal Government
The Low-Income Monthly Transit Pass is valid on all regular Calgary Transit and Access Calgary Shared Ride Services and Special Services.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
You must:

  • Live in Calgary at time of application or renewal and present proof of mailing address (ie: Utility Bill).
  • Be 18 years old or older.
  • Provide photo identification for person applying and a photocopy for each family member listed on your application over 18 years old age.

ACCEPTED PROOF OF LOW INCOME

The ONLY accepted proof of income is your 2009 Canada Customs and Revenue Agency “Notice of Assessment” or “Notice of Reassessment” form provided after your annual tax return is filed. Call Revenue Canada at 1-800-959-8281 for more information.

  • NOTE:  Tax returns will not be accepted.
  • You must provide the 2009 “Notice of Assessment” or “Notice of Reassessment” for every family member 18 years old and over that live with you at your household address provided.
  • If you have children, you must show their Alberta Health Care card.
