You can access three hampers through self-referral. For additional hampers, however, you must be referred through one of our partner agencies such as your local Community Resource Centre(attention Bruno-insert community resource link) A maximum of seven Emergency Food Hampers may be accessed by an individual or family over a 12 month period.

How does the screening process work?
Because our resources are limited, hampers are given to those who need them most.
To do this, we will ask for the following information each time a hamper is requested:

Personal information
How many people in your household and their ages
Address
Phone number
Financial information
Sources of income
Basic expenses
i.e. rent or mortgage
Child care costs
Medical expenses
Utilities

The difference between your household net income and your basic expenses is how we determine if you qualify for a hamper.
